Introduction

HGA biomed. (hereinafter “HGA”) is committed to safeguarding your privacy online. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle the personal information that you provide to us on our websites. It does not apply to any information collected from you in different forums, including offline information collection. We understand the importance of privacy to our customers and visitors to these websites.

Please be sure to read this Policy before using or submitting information to us. This Policy is subject to change from time to time, so please check back periodically. Your use of this website is subject not only to this Policy, but also to this site’s Terms of Use. By accessing and using our website, and by providing us with your information, you agree to be bound by this Policy.

Your Information

HGA provides you with the opportunity to contact us about questions you may have about our company or products. As part of that process, HGA collects personally identifying information, such as: customer names, e-mail and/or mailing addresses, phone numbers; or any other information which, when used by itself or with other data, might identify a customer or visitor to our website individually. To protect your safety, you should not provide HGA with any personal information that is not specifically requested, such as your personal medical history. We will use the information you provide to respond to any direct question you may ask. We may also use this information for other business purposes, such as offering you the opportunity to receive notices regarding existing or new HGA products or services, to invite you to participate in surveys about our products, to notify you about promotions we may be hosting, and to further personalize your experience on our site. Personally identifying information is used only for our legitimate business interests, including compliance with applicable laws and regulations. We may share your personal information with our affiliates, business partners, and other limited and carefully-screened third parties. We will also share your personally identifying information if required by law to do so. From time to time, we will provide aggregate statistics about our customers, sales, online traffic patterns, and related information to reputable third parties, but these statistics will not include any personally identifying or medical information.

Cookies

As part of offering and improving our services, we may use “cookies” to store and sometimes track information about our online customers and users. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive. This information may be used to better understand, customize, and improve user experience with our websites, services, and offerings as well as to manage our advertising. Cookies can make use of the web easier by saving user status and preferences about a website. Some parts of our website where you are prompted to log-in or that are customizable may require that you accept cookies. Cookies by themselves cannot be used to find out the identity of any user. Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies, but users can change the setting to refuse cookies or to be alerted when cookies are being sent.

We may use Google Analytics, which uses cookies and similar technologies to collect and analyze information about use of the Site and report on activities and trends. This service may also collect information regarding the use of other websites, apps and online resources. You can learn about Google’s practices by going to Google Partners privacy page, and opt out of them by downloading the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, available at GA Opt-out.

Children

We understand the need to protect children’s privacy online (we define “children” as minors younger than 13). We do not knowingly collect or use any personal information from children. We do not knowingly allow children to register with us, order our products, communicate with us, or to use any of our online services.

Your Control/Contacting HGA

You may, at any time, remove your personally identifying information from our current customer database. If you have submitted personally identifying information to HGA, and you wish to have it removed from our records, please e-mail us at [email protected]. For us to process your request, you must include the website to which you provided the information (i.e., hgabiomed.hu) and indicate “Deletion Request” in the subject line. However, for our record-keeping purposes, we will retain personally identifying information submitted for any previously completed contractual transactions. If you have questions about this Policy, the information that you have provided to us, or wish to notify us that you do not want your information shared with unaffiliated third parties, please contact us at [email protected] and include the e-mail address used for registration. Again, in order to process your request, you must include the name of the website to which you provided the information and a detailed explanation of your request. We will respond to all reasonable requests as soon as feasible.

Security

HGA is committed to providing reasonable measures to protect your personally identifying information from any unauthorized access or disclosure, and uses industry standard measures such as SSL technology to protect your information. In addition to the steps taken by HGA to protect your privacy, you should also take measures to safeguard your personal information.

Retention Period

We will retain your personal data for as long as needed or permitted in light of the purpose(s) for which it was obtained and as outlined in this Policy. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include: (i) the length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you and provide the Site to you; (ii) whether there is a legal obligation to which we are subject; or (iii) whether retention is advisable in light of our legal position (such as in regard to the enforcement of the Site Terms of Use, applicable statutes of limitations, litigation or regulatory investigations).

Updates to our Privacy Policy

From time to time, we may update this Policy. Any changes will be effective when we post the revised Policy. This Policy was last updated as of the effective date listed above. If the Policy changes in a way that significantly affects how we handle personal data, we will not use the personal data we previously gathered in the manner described in the new policy without providing notice and/or obtaining your consent, as appropriate. Minor changes to the Policy may occur that will not significantly affect our use of personal data without notice or consent.
